Our Story
At Blue Snow, we design and build wood furniture and architectural pieces with intention—from sustainably sourced materials to thoughtful, modern forms. We’re an independent manufacturer that works closely with architects, designers, and creatives to bring beautiful, functional ideas to life.
Every project is approached with care—balancing design, sustainability, and real-world use. Whether you need something custom, want help developing a concept, or are sourcing made-to-order pieces, we’re here to make it seamless.
Our team brings together business minds, industrial designers, skilled builders, and steel fabricators. The result? Smart, well-made pieces that work for your space, your timeline, and your budget.
We care about great design—but we care just as much about the people we work with. Long-term, collaborative partnerships are at the core of what we do.

The Founder
Collin leads every Blue Snow project from concept to installation. With over 15 years of experience in business development and strategic planning, he keeps projects running smoothly—with clear communication, efficient systems, and a focus on quality.
A Navy veteran, Collin served as an aeronautical radar engineer and lead tactical operator, while also working on poverty relief programs. These experiences shaped his people-first, purpose-driven approach.
He holds a degree in Business Management and Wildlife Biology from The University of Montana—bringing together operations and environmental awareness in a way that defines Blue Snow’s mission.
His work on the University of Washington’s donor wall earned a Silver Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, recognizing both creative vision and execution.
When working with Blue Snow, you can expect thoughtful leadership, hands-on collaboration, and a commitment to doing good work that lasts.

How We Work
1. Material Sourcing
We use fallen trees, salvaged wood, and materials reclaimed from past projects. No clear-cutting, no waste.
2. Manufacturing
Production runs on 80% hydro and 20% solar power. All adhesives and finishes are water-based and non-toxic.
3. Product Use
Our pieces are made to last—durable, low-maintenance, and designed to resist trends and breakdown.
4. End of Life
When you're ready to part with a piece, send it back. We’ll disassemble and reuse the materials to create something new—no landfill, just new life.

Sourcing With Purpose
We work with a curated selection of hardwoods and metals sourced both domestically and internationally. From rare Costa Rican hardwoods to salvaged Pacific Northwest timber, every material is chosen for its unique beauty and longevity.
- Reclaimed & Salvaged Woods
- Rare and Sustainable Hardwoods
- USA-Made Steel
- Organic Powder-Coated Metal Finishes
- Low-VOC Finishes
(Low-VOC means fewer harmful chemicals, making the finishes safer for your home, healthier for our craftspeople, and better for the environment.)
