Overview
For Pokémon’s Seattle office, we designed a showstopping spalted maple conference table that blends bold creativity with practical function. Working with Commercial Office Interiors, we brought their vision to life with rare wood, organic curves, and thoughtful craftsmanship that transformed the space into a warm, collaborative environment.
Our Approach
The team at Commercial Office Interiors approached us with a unique request. Their client, Pokémon, wanted to break away from typical office furniture and create something that would become a centerpiece.
They envisioned a space that encouraged employees to gather, connect, and feel inspired. We were given the dimensions and layout of the room and got to work designing a custom conference table shaped to fit the flow of the space.
We sourced slabs of rare spalted maple with striking grain patterns and natural curves that felt alive. Every detail was considered—from the functionality of the table’s mobility to how it would complement the open-concept design of the office.
This project gave us creative freedom to push the boundaries of traditional office furniture and deliver something that felt exciting, well-crafted, and completely original.
Experience
The Pokémon team didn’t have to manage any logistics. We handled the entire delivery and installation process in-house, including carefully packaging, transporting, and setting up the pieces on site.
The office was left clean and ready for use, with no need for outside contractors or added coordination.
Throughout the project, communication remained clear and consistent, including regular updates, timelines, and visuals to show how the design was progressing.
The Result
The final collection brought character and cohesion to the entire office. From the showstopping spalted maple conference tables to the soundproof room table, mobile meeting tables, desks, and built-in bookcase, each piece was designed to feel unique yet connected.
The natural grain, thoughtful curves, and warm finish helped transform the space into a welcoming, collaborative environment.
